AI image generator Black Friday

A Black Friday image-tool purchase should survive one question: can it produce an image you would actually use after the discount ends?

Updated 2026-10-20

Image generators look similar in a gallery and behave very differently in a real workflow. One preserves a face; another invents a new one. One charges for a failed job; another releases the credit. One exports a clean file; another leaves a watermark.

This page is a buyer’s checklist, not a claim about a sale. The FeyNoBg seasonal workspace is live today. Any future Black Friday terms will appear on the pricing page first.

Prompt recipe

Violet braids, moonlight, and a Victorian garden.

Prompt recipe
Use the uploaded photo as the primary reference. Preserve the subject's recognizable facial identity, facial proportions, skin tone, approximate age, body proportions, pose and natural anatomy. Keep the same number of people as the uploaded photo. Avoid altered facial identity, extra people, extra limbs, duplicated fingers, distorted anatomy, text, logos and watermarks. Transform the subject into an original gothic Halloween fashion portrait. Change the hairstyle into long violet braids decorated with delicate silver hair accessories. Replace the clothing with an elegant black-and-purple velvet outfit featuring subtle lace and metallic details. Place the subject in a moonlit Victorian garden with soft fog, glowing lanterns and dark autumn foliage. Use photorealistic editorial photography, realistic fabric textures, natural skin details and cinematic soft lighting.

Check identity preservation, not just style

Use the same source photo across two tools and compare the face at full size. Look at the jawline, eye shape, skin tone, and the relationship between the nose and mouth. A tool that produces a beautiful stranger is not an editing tool.

A prompt that says “preserve identity” is a start, but the model has to be capable of following it. Test with a face that has a distinctive feature: a mole, a scar, freckles, or an asymmetrical smile. Does the feature survive?

Understand the credit math

Calculate the cost of one usable image, not one generated image. If a tool charges one credit per attempt and you need three attempts, the real cost is three credits. If a failed job consumes a credit, add that to the cost.

FeyNoBg reserves a credit at submission and consumes it only after a result is saved. That does not make the model perfect, but it makes failure accounting clearer. Look for the same distinction in any tool you compare.

Test the edit, not only the text prompt

A text-to-image gallery does not prove that a tool can edit your photo. Test an image-to-image workflow with a real portrait, a pet, and a two-person photo. The failure modes are different: identity drift, species change, face swapping, and extra people.

If the tool only supports text prompts, you are buying a generator, not an editor. That may be fine, but do not pay an editing-tool price for a generator.

Read the export and rights terms

Check the output format, resolution, watermark policy, and commercial-use terms. Check whether the provider claims a license to your uploaded image or the generated output. Check what happens to your files after the job.

A low price with unclear rights is not a bargain. If you need the image for a client, a product listing, or an ad, the rights matter as much as the visual quality.

A 20-minute evaluation

Run one portrait edit, one pet edit, and one couple edit. Time each one. Inspect the face, hands, costume edges, and background. Download the result and open it in an editor. If the file is clean and the identity survives, the tool is worth a second look.

Do this before Black Friday. A sale is a reason to buy a tool you already trust, not a reason to skip the evaluation.
